Quick Recap
Zone Triggers are what help get you in the Zone.
Zone Signs are the feelings that you will notice as you are getting closer to the Zone.
Anyone can learn to train the Zone Triggers and recognize the Zone Signs.
The key is to put aside a few minutes each day to strengthen your ability to use the Triggers and Signs to help you get into the Zone or close to the Zone more often.
I'm not talking about hours a day.
It can be as little as 5 to 10 minutes a day... As long as your training is executed with full focus and high intensity.
When you want to change old habits or build new habits... it is the consistency of the repetitions and the intensity of the repetitions that makes the difference.
A little bit everyday is much better than hours per day but only done every third or fourth day.
Full focus and high intensity makes sure that your brain and your neural pathways know exactly what you are trying to do.
Under most circumstances it will take about 3 weeks before new habits will begin to form or old habits will start to fade away.
You may notice positive changes right away but patterns don't really begin to change until at least 3 weeks into the process.
By the way... consistency, intensity and 3 weeks of training minimum holds true whether you are training for the Zone or training your swing.
The goal is to move the change from your conscious mind to your subconscious.
This means you will go from thinking about the new pattern and trying to control the new pattern... to allowing the new pattern to happen.
It is only when it has moved to your subconscious that you will be able to access the pattern effectively and under pressure whenever you need it.

We will continue the discussion of Zone Signs with the discussion of effortless power versus powerless effort. :-)
